This course is a theoretical introduction to the skills, duties, and onboard knowledge you should understand when applying for a deck crew position.
The Deck Course gives future yacht crew a structured introduction to deck skills and duties on superyachts and sailing vessels. Through five knowledge-rich modules — covering essential terminology and knots, real-world operational drills, safety management checklists, preventative maintenance plans, and worklist/project documentation — you’ll gain the theoretical understanding needed for a deck crew position.
From port operations and mooring, to daily maintenance routines and safety procedures, this course helps you understand day-to-day deck responsibilities and build the knowledge needed to feel more confident from day one onboard.
