The Selection Process for the Apprenticeship Programme

There are 2 intakes each year, review of candidate selection take place at the end of January and July.

  • 2 A score above 90% to be considered
  • 3 1st Round of Interviews online
  • 4 2nd Round of interviews in Person
  • 5 Panel Interview online
  • 6 Final Selection & Admission

THE APPLICATION PROCESS:

To win a place in the Apprenticeship Programme, candidates must successfully complete the online e-learning courses with a score above 90% and pass 3 rounds of the interviews - online and offline. After Final Selection and Admission, Candidates will receive a confirmation call and invitation to the Apprenticeship Programme.

Fully paid 3-year Luxury Yacht Apprenticeship valued at over €118,000.

The crew member will earn the following qualifications during the 3-year Apprenticeship:

  • Medical Fitness Certificate and STCW (Basic Safety Training)
  • Food Safety & Hygiene Level 2 Course for Catering
  • IYT Superyacht Hospitality Certificate
  • PADI Open Water Diver Certificate
  • PADI Advanced Open Water Diver Certificate
  • PADI Rescue Diver Certificate
  • Short range Certificate VII Radio Operator
  • IYT Power boat Level 2
  • Transport Malta Approved Engine Course 1 (AEC 1)
  • Transport Malta Approved Engine Course 2 (AEC 2)
  • IYT Master of Yacht Limited Certificate
  • IYT Master of Yacht Unlimited Certificate
  • Transport Malta Efficient Deckhand (EDH)
